Known as the “Mother of the Americas,” Our Lady of Guadalupe is venerated all across the western hemisphere for her strength and resilience. Los Angeles’ Las Mañanitas Festival is the home to the largest celebration of “The Feast Day for Our Lady of Guadalupe,” outside of Mexico City. Musicians stop to play their favorite songs, while the crowd dances through the night. With an atmosphere that is actively created through the crowds participation and energy, patrons can expect to enjoy music, taste delicious cultural foods, and participate in various activities. Not only a greatly admired and respected religious symbol, Our Lady of Guadalupe has transcended to her modern day iteration as a cultural icon, breathing life into this historic festival.
